Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can, use it only to reply to you and do the work you ask for, and never sell it.

Updated October 21, 2026

Who we are

Bayanor (“we”, “us”) is a business transformation studio based in Edmonton, Alberta. This policy explains how we handle personal information through bayanor.com and when you contact us. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

What you send us. When you email us or use the contact form, we receive what you choose to include: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, the services you are interested in and your message.

Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

What we don't collect. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so visiting the site doesn't send your data to a font service.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
  • To prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to deliver the project.
  • To keep basic business records, as the law requires.
  • To keep the website secure and working.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Consent

By contacting us, you consent to us using your information to respond and for the purposes above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to [email protected], and we'll stop using your information except where the law requires us to keep it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the studio, and only what they need to do so:

  • Our website host, Vercel, which serves this site.
  • Our email provider, which stores and delivers the messages we exchange with you.

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessed by authorities under local law. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to talk with you about your project. If we work together, we keep project and billing records for as long as tax and business law requires. When we no longer need information, we delete it.

How we protect it

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit access to your information to the people who need it and use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you share.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
